  1. Señor de la Conquista, celebration in San Miguel de Allende. I've licensed a few images from event but this one was my favourite with the imploring look to the sky, once i noticed it in the dance move, spend quite a while trying to get it and was so happy, but never licensed.
  2. Low-mid $$. Marketing package - Small business, Use in marketing materials, worldwide for 5 years (excludes advertising). This package is for marketing campaigns promoting businesses which have up to 10 employees. only 5 years licence 😉 as stated elsewhere another sale where i was charged 15% extra of my earning for affiliate link. so in the end i get just barely $$. this was my first attempt of trying something new with the memorial to aboriginal children in Canada with the on the ground narrow focus.
  3. It just doesn't make sense, why the sudden increase. Losing 15% of already reduced earnings doesn't help, but it's more a question where are these coming from all of a sudden?
  4. I just went through my whole history of licencing, in 3 years I had one Affiliate commission charge up to July 23, 2021. Now since the new contract is in place this is my 3rd sale in a row with Affiliate commission. I know my account is small, and this could all be noise but i'm curious if anyone else is seeing an increase, and if yes if Alamy can advise what changed.
  5. especially since there is less and less evidence of any reranking at the account level happening
  6. Rustic beehives in Slovenia Ostrich Farm Farm dog
  7. i understood, but my recent ratio has been so bad, that i'm wondering why i even care about zooms anymore.
  8. i would love to hear of any competitor that has more efficient and effective QC. All I see around forums are complaint of random processes and unexplained decisions from competitors. In addition some will charge up to 85% for said "superior" process. The 60% Alamy charges is already disrespectful enough, not sure how anyone would be happy with the "more efficient and effective" 85%.
  9. which to me is another big problem, i last 4 months i only have one zoom that has to date been reported as a sale. This is likely my lowest ratio in in over 2 years.
  10. low fees are regularly reported. Not sure about anyone's experience cancelling their contract after, but this may be because once cancelled they do not have access to the forum any longer.
  11. Actually i think from a business perspective, the opposite is true. sorry, but a business model that doesn't recognise the cost of production and acquisition is doomed to fail. Look at all these businesses (at least in North America) complaining about the lack of cheap labour to support their model, and they blame the labour not their model. In the end something will break If the cost of rarity is not covered by the model, in the end you will not get it. I can honestly say that Alamy's decision in the past 2 months ha
  12. i am curious, how does @Alamyintend to manage this end date. Please provide security that you will enforce this, and manage our rights.
  13. Reportage just goes straight to Stock, no Live News Feed, with similar QC requirement to News so tougher images to get (low light), and hits the search overnight so no 2-3 days wait for searches, and no no man's land limbo. The main issue for non UK/European based news, is that Alamy is not a major source for local news editors, so if I have an event that is unlikely to hit international News Wire, I have little need to upload in 10 minutes, but they have gotten decent fees on the Stock side, many times in next few weeks, images that were too soft for me to feel comfortable uploadi
  14. yep, and then when i asked if i could get access to using Reportage as an alternative, as the cost of rushing upload made it non profitable for more non-UK based news which get more traction in that market, Alamy Contributor "Support" just denied the request, which didn't help my spirit.
  15. Depends of your interest, I Try to find and follow local activists on Twitter. Some searches for "XXXXX march", "XXXXX rally" even quick "XXXX saturday" to see if anything coming up. That said Alamy's recent actions have reduced my current spirit in looking for these.
  16. why would it be different from any other such reporting of issues with it over last 12 months? 1.Ignore. 2.Deny any issue. 3.'"Technical problem" message 4. IT looking into it 5. Some random change happens 6.Radio silence 7. Rinse and repeat
  17. same here. This is a concern as it means CTR would have been wrongly calculated, Potentially affecting individual placements in search- Alamy's documentation on the impact of CTR. I wonder if this is why overall CTR was down significantly on Tuesday. In fact I notice this morning Alamy's reported "Last month average CTR on Alamy" went up from 0.56 to 0.59 from Tuesday, this is Significant at the overall level. Any input?
  18. thanks Alamy for checking into this, though i am curious how we went from telling @Tony ALS "everything is fine" to recognising there is an issue, which has been going on for quite a while- reports of irregularities in measures and lack of updates go back to last autumn. I do appreciate the "reassurance" that the issue is only with "Measures" and not actual client interactions, but considering as of yesterday there was "reassurance" issued that Measures was fine, see aforementioned email, this may again go into the also previously mentioned "communication with contributors" category.
  19. so measures have been a mess. Many people have been concerned with licensing fee and terms, but for Alamy, this is still top of list on the forum Could i suggest The importance of being accurate in your communication with contributors might be a bit more à propos.
  20. i had a couple of zooms in last week, but both time when i looked at "yesterday's" result their was no zoom that day. I could identify the new one looking at monthly data, my zooms are down so not too hard, but something else was messy.
  21. i agree with you on this one, i would however have capture more of the foreground for perspective (or cropped it squarer)
  22. the 90 days is however to new official timeline, 180 days was prior to the new contract. I am seeing images disappear from my portfolio that i deleted in late May early June.
