I have pictures on here shot with the RX100. If you shoot it at low ISO, or use one of the night modes (don’t remember which) for darker environments, you can be successful with it. It’s best shot in good light. I have learned to do some things with it using

selective noise reduction.  The Fuji cameras seem to not need as much care.

Not knowing your abilities, (are you just now getting into photography?) or whether you have good software for developing the photos, it’s hard to advise.

Thank you, i'm intermediate to advance in photography. I use Adobe Photoshop and LightRoom.

That is clearly going to be really tough for you and all other users of Adobe products in Venezuela, I'm in the UK but it doesn't seem to add up at all from here. I don't quite understand the references in the email about available earnings and payout minimums but I presume that is connected to any refunds that they are offering, though that is not going to be much compensation for leaving you high and dry.

There's another article here from our Financial Times:

I can't quite understand why when you Google this issue from here regarding the 'executive order' it only seems to be issues with Adobe that come up, are you expecting other US subscription based services to join in, perhaps software or cloud storage? The Adobe email mentions Paypal so presumably that isn't affected. Is there a feeling that maybe Adobe are interpreting  this order rather harshly?

    Edit:

Sorry, meanderingemu has explained the earnings and payments references, are you an Adobe subscription software user as well, or maybe a contributor to another US based library?

That email it is from Adobe Stock, the following image it is from Adobe.

Yes, I understand. I visited Venezuela in 2003 when the political and economic situations were much better, but even then I didn't feel safe photographing in parts of Caracas. I also spent time in Canaima National Park and on Los Roques islands, both beautiful places. I wish I had been able to visit some other areas. It's too dangerous now, unfortunately. Ten cuidado.

    Muchas gracias!

The latest RX100's are way out of my price range as well, especially with today's low image prices. However, I've seen some good deals on used RX100 I and II versions here in Canada and on ebay.

I hope things are improving in Venezuela. It's a beautiful country.

Thanks, i hope so! . It's still very expensive for my budget. I use a Canon XT or 350D, but its a little big for hide in some situations in the street. I have compact cameras such as Nikon L18 and Canon A810 in some situations are not so good. Venezuela critical situation is getting harder every day, in all ways.

Not directly. Some zooms can be linked with a specific sale. Some sales may have arisen from a zoom but it is not clear as there may be along interval between the two. Many sales are made without the image concerned ever being zoomed at all.

There is an indirect link in that your past zooms/sales ratio may give a rough indication of forthcoming sales. Over the years I have had a ratio of one sale for every four zooms, although that seems to have reduced substantially in recent months. Different contributors will report different ratios and yours may be different again.

    Thanks!

Not going to go into details with all the text, just to mention that you should never format dates like this: 06/25/2014, as that would be correctly displayed as 25/06/2014 in the UK and some other countries.

For similar reasons, best not to use 25th (or 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc.) Just use the numbers for more general acceptance internationally.

    Thanks!

I thought UK used the same date format as USA, i was wrong.

  8. I have a question about to put dates the  photos, i could use for example this format Buenos Aires State/Argentina 06/25/2014. Argentina soccer team fan wearing the Messi's t-shirt  during The soccer world cup 2014 Argentina vs Nigeria in Plaza San Martín or San Martin Square.  or Buenos Aires State/Argentina 25th june 2014. Argentina soccer team fan wearing the Messi's t-shirt  during The soccer world cup 2014 Argentina vs Nigeria in Plaza San Martín or San Martin Square.

    Thanks!

Sorry if that seems harsh, but there's no point beating around the bush.  To make sales your photography and tagging have to be spot on.  Just think about the picture when you take it and spend time tagging pictures correctly.

Edit: You STILL haven't changed the tags I pointed out back in October.  Not taking advice given by contributors on this forum isn't the best idea...

I haven't had time, now i'm working on it!
