  1. Joined Alamy 2 years ago, according to AIM just passed 3000 images and 39 sales today. I live in a very small Irish village, 1 pub, 1 shop and about 60 people. Nearest town (a small one 7k away) Nearest city 90k away, so happy with that effort so far.
  2. Bit of a cliche but first light or dawn over a creek near me.
  3. On a sign outside a Paediatric ward part of a hand cleanliness warning " The first few minutes of life can be the most dangerous" some one had added "The last few minutes can be pretty dodgy as well"
  4. On a different note put up a Greenhouse in one day (i've been looking at the kit for a month). Apparently you grow plants in them 🙂
  5. You can't beat the wail of the agony bags in the glen.🙂
  6. On a lighter note (if there is one) Over here in Ireland Paddy's Day has been cancelled, the pubs are shut and the churches are shut so just as well add toilets to the list of doom.🙂

  8. Who would have thought, you live and learn.
  9. I suppose if you had a GT go faster model it would take some stopping, or its to stop pitch invasions. 😄
  10. The sign seems a bit Health and Safety gone bonkers 😐 No offence to wheelchair users.
  11. Me as well, AIM locking up, taking ages to load etc and my download speed is over 60MBs.😡
  12. If all else fails i have some very nice bottles of 40 year old single malts, I'll be sticking to the mouthwash method.😉
  13. Several live news images to nationals have been high $$$ and $$ but lately buttons.
  14. Sould have taken the shot of the Queen in her curlers, might have struggled with a model release though.😁

Pleased with this image, Father Tony Coote recently RIP finishing his walk across Ireland for Motor Neurone Disease support. The press pack were waiting at the finish, i took this image 1/2 mile out of town balanced on a farmers wall. Sometimes pays not to be a sheep and follow the heard. 😐
  18. It took me ages to gain the trust of the local trawler skippers when i first turned up on the fish quay. Once i convinced them i'm not from the Revenue, Customs, Fisheries or Taxman and got a few images in the local paper they were fine. Now got to the stage if something interesting is pulled up in the nets i get a text and phone pic "what is it be along side at 5am". So worth the patience i think.
  19. I'll stick with the ladies on this one. Male lions have a very short and violent lives, kicked out of your family when about 2, if you don't starve to death fight and win another family when your about 4-5, by about 7 another male/males kick you out and you starve to death again or get killed in the fight. Definitely better of being a lady and staying at home with the kids.🙄
  20. I'm leaning more towards big cats, lions etc spend up to 23hrs a day sleeping 1hr working or hunting .
  21. That's the same little sod that's nicking food from by bird feeders. War was declared in m garden this morning.😡
