  1. I have just sold three photos, of which were sold on Alamy for $0.83, meaning i get a whole 9 cents. Not only that the use is in perpetuity ! Has anyone else been a victim of what I can only say is to me fraud. I reckon both photos will be used for a calendar. I have been in touch with Alamy who gave me this 'reason' - New customers that we don’t interact with invariably come to the site, search, price and license images and pay the shop front prices. Customers we actively go after, contact us about specific needs or key customers with large spends and image requirements
  2. Many thanks for all your help - have to admit I have never heard of it, but it certainly was an interesting read. Robbie Shaw
  3. Many thanks for all your help, lots to think about. Robbie Shaw
  4. Appreciate all your help. A couple of routes I am looking at going down now. Many thanks. Robbie Shaw
  5. Alamy are saying 'noise', but I suppose it could be grain. Though shots were taken on K64 which was good for lack of grain. Robbie Shaw
  6. Great suggestion, think that is the way to go. Appreciate your help. Robbie Shaw
  7. Looked at the site and tried to load a shot. I no longer have a website so it seems you cannot load an individual shot as it asked for website address. Robbie
  8. Certainly I have found that in Photoshop reducing noise does seem tom soften the sharpness. Thanks Robbie Shaw
  9. Cannot remember what Coolscan it was - two friends had the same machine and we all ditched it. Yes as you say the Kodachrome is very difficult to scan, amazing how much dust gets on slides ! Thanks, Robbie Shaw
  10. Thanks Bryan. I assume there is a link to submitting on Archival route. Lots of air-air shots I could put on. Many thanks, Robbie Shaw
