  5. Right! I have the same problem. I don't see the map any longer. Moreover, AIM is not reviving GIS metadata from uploaded files.

  7. What about using GPS function in your camera instead of using your laptop mostly for key wording the location?
  8. apparently it seems to b quite appealing to investors. 120% rise on stock exchange today... after making that announcement
  9. this is interesting: http://www.olegkikin.com/shutterlife/ your model is not there though
  10. After sending 2 or 3 messages using the form I'm still waiting for their reaction for some 2 months already
  11. Were you on IS as well, and if so, did you manage to close an account there? Good luck with Alamy!
  12. Right. I'm asking as I'm considering exactly the same option - uploading images (mostly archive) of another photographer. Would 50/50 split of potential income from Alamy be a fair deal?
  13. If I may ask, how are you going to share profits in such cases?
  14. This is definitely not what I want I was just curious to see how it works
  15. I'm still relatively newbie so sorry if this is a naive question or if it was discussed already (couldn't find, so please share a link if it was a case): I see that there are agencies submitting through Alamy, some bigger, some smaller (those having some 100k + immages)... Just out of my curiosity I was wondering how it works. I guess a photographer submits photos and the agency does the rest - key wording, uploading and eventually sharing the profits.. Is that so? What are your experiences? Does it make a sense for a photographer to get engaged with them? What are pros and cons? How does it work exactly?
  16. On top of using proper English (no matter how it is defined) we also have differences between American / British English. But this is a minor issue. The most important is that such a mechanism would not allow us to use names (locations etc.) in local languages which does not make much sense. There are agencies that use such a mechanism of giving you option to choose from menu of available key words which automatically limits your options to properly key word your image. Not a good solution for both suppliers and buyers....
