  1. So what's the point of being exclusive if you're going to take away the extra 10% you promised? Going through nearly 17K images to mark exclusive vs. non-exclusive was a hell of a lot of work for nothing. Those of us who are honest about being exclusive are lumped in with liars and cheats and punished as well. Setting a $25K minimum per year is ridiculous. With all the commission cuts you keep making, I've watched my revenue plummet twice, rebuilt by adding more content, and now back to almost 2016 levels despite adding images. Loyalty since 2005, when contributors earned 60%, doesn't count fo
  2. Here's the official response from Alamy: "Our price calculator lists the 'shop front' pricing; this varies slightly from time to time depending on the territory, who a customer is and if they have their own pricing structure." So, basically, the prices you see opposite your images mean nothing.
  3. There are definitely a lot of bulk sales for very low prices. And you're right, they do provide quite a bit of info on usage. It does seem that it's a race to the bottom in the stock photo business. Ah, for the good old days....
  4. Yes, I know, but these two images were exclusive and not part of an image pack or through a distributor. I got 50% of a sales price that matches nothing and is a little more than half the usage price advertised. When the office reopens for questions, I want to ask again.
  5. It would be nice if Alamy were a little more transparent about their pricing.
  6. Thank you all for your response. I'm in the US and it says $19.99 for personal use opposite my images, which are both RM. One sale says Worldwide, but usage is partly in German, which could account for the price difference. The other says Worldwide and everything is in English, so I have no idea where the buyer is. It would be nice if Alamy would answer this question rather than us just speculating among ourselves. I emailed them both times, but received the coronavirus response that said ask the community on the forum.
  7. For the second time this month, one of my images has been licensed for personal use for $10.78, my share 50%. If it says right opposite the image where it's for sale that it's $19.99 for personal use, why is Alamy selling it for half that? Seems it would be better for both Alamy and me to sell it for the price it's advertised for.
  8. I see them when I first load the AIM page, and I see them when the Filter tab is clicked, but they disappear when you go into search mode. It would be nice if they were there all the time so you don't have to search, then click on the magnifying glass to see your own image number. Maybe Alamy can tweak this?
  9. Not just you. I was keywording images a couple days ago and I had to click the magnifying glass to see my image numbers. Now they're on all the thumbnails. I hope they stay there, it's so much easier.
  10. Yaay, they're now under the thumbnails along with Alamy's image number. Thank you all for your responses, and thank you, Alamy, for making them visible. So helpful!
  11. Under the previous Image Manager, my own image numbers were retained along with the image and could be referred back to. Where are those numbers now? It's quite frustrating and time-consuming to have to look through hundreds of images on my computer to find one that's on the Alamy site.
