  1. I agree with David Kilpatrick ref b&w conversion BUT surely " digitally altered " shouldn't carry so much weight. If the image has been digitally altered, maybe it needs to go into a " fine art " or " creative art " folder. Most image editors consider " additions " or " subtractions " ( not colour or tone ) as digitally altered. BUT it's an argument with lots of legs !
