  3. I'm definately not afraid of trying new things and I did try Lightroom albeit many years ago. A friend of mine sent me some tutorials on dvd's/cd's whatever they were, this was back in the day before so many tutorials on the web. So.....I put the disks in my laptop and went through each step on my desktop, pausing it as and when I needed to. At the end of a very long day I just still didn't get it and ended up with a migraine☺️ However, I guess much has changed since then and maybe now it's easier. For now I'm more than happy with my workflow using Bridge and PS.
  4. Feel so much better reading that I'm not the only one re: Lightroom 😁 Carol
  5. Ok, so I've just clicked done and the image disappeared off screen also but from memory I think I always clicked on Open anyway. I guess this is Adobe's new normal ! I preferred the old normal but that applies to so many things these days. I will just need to go the righthand side instead of the top😄 I don't use Lightroom, never have as I never got on with it when I tried it some years ago so I don't even have it on my computer now. Horses for courses as they say 😉 Carol
  6. Thank you again everyone, I've just had another practice and managed ok, the Geometry info also useful. Edo I hope you are feeling better today. Carol
  7. Ah thanks so much everyone, I thought I was going mad! That is so helpful as my next question was going to be the lens profile one. I liked it as it was before it was so straightforward but I guess will have to get used to it😄 So ok, think that's the straightening sorted though will probably need more practice, and also the lens distortion bit. I will just have to make sure I take straighter images ha ha. Anything else I have forgotten please let me know..... Again thanks for the help it's very much appreciated ! Carol
  8. Edo, I really hope you've got Lightroon sorted out......after reading this thread I thought I had better check my CC. I don't use Lightroom just Adobe Bridge/Camera Raw and PS. Ho hum, looks like Camera Raw has updated. I now can't find the auto straighten tool in Camera Raw which used to be at the very top and was extremely useful. I've hovered over the various other things but can't seem to find it. Don't mean to hijack your post of course, just that it seemed related😉 Thoughts anyone ? Carol
  9. Zooms not too bad, if only they would turn into sales😉 However, some of my earlier sales have now cleared so looking forward to 1st July. No sales so far this month but early days yet, onwards and upwards everyone😉
  10. Glad you managed to finally move Allan I bet it was a massive relief for you. I look forward to seeing some lovely seal images from Donna Nook later in the year...Lots of luck and happiness in your new home. Carol
  11. Looks like a goldfinch, sadly I found a dead baby one this morning it had flown into the patio doors, note to self.......do not clean the windows too well.... Carol
  12. Glad you got it sorted Allan, sounds like a glitch somewhere. At least you can do your keywording now😀 Carol
  13. My public liability insurance also £2M. The only time I had to increase it was when I did a wedding shoot at Waddesdon Manor who insisted on £5M and certain other conditions and proof/copy of certificate, all of which I provided. Guess it would depend on cost how much for you to increase it, I don't think it would be too much more so probably worth checking it out. Carol
  14. I might clean the inside of the car today, have been putting it off - on the other hand........😉 Carol
  15. My kit insurance is with Aaduki. I still have professional indemnity insurance even though I no longer choose to do commercial etc. I just feel better knowing it's there just in case 😉 Carol
  16. Hi Steve, yes it's true you can crop and still get decent images though I do really try to get everything right in camera as I don't like to crop if I can help it but sometimes it's necessary. Also use Nikon lenses. I use a desktop iMac so no problems so far 😊 Carol

Ha ha, same here but maybe slightly less depending on the occasion😄 As for self isolation, the only product I've been having trouble getting is tomato puree, my sister managed to find some so is posting 2 tubes to me they will arrive this morning. About 10 minutes ago, my amazing neighbour also posted 1 tube through my letterbox. I guess cooking something is today's activity😀 Carol
