  1. Hi, there is a difference between agent and licensee basically Alamy can not be the licensee the photographer is as we license them to sell on our behalf the image we submit. If you read the contact Alamy states they will be changing our images to fit sale criteria and negotiate the terms of sale which makes them an agent. They can not be the licensee they don't own the copyright of the image. I find that Alamy has a cheek to make us responsible for copyright infringement with an image With all the resources that Alamy has at its disposal to check this. It has done it for secondary lice
  2. I agree with what you have said. What I'm going to say next won't make me popular. From what I can see it is about maximizing revenues for the select. if you choose not to be a sheep you are discriminated against. All apps take time to develop no matter what plate form they are to be used with. It is strange that the more expensive of the two has been chosen. What you have to remember is that Alamy works in it's own best interests even though it is it's contributors that make it successful.
  3. You are right it is described as daisy like which means it could be one of thirty odd varieties. That is as close as I can get. To be honest I have stopped making images of flowers I do not no the name of in advance It saves a lot of time on research.
  4. I do not know where you find the time to make and upload such large numbers of quality images.
  5. Welcome to the forum I have been with Alamy for years but this is my first post to the forum. All the best with your uploads.
