  1. Well I always said that, then I moved to the middle of nowhere and love it.
  2. Irish Sun online GM03KJ Lewis Oliver crowded beach at Alcudia Beach, Puerto de Alcudia, Mallorca Majorca Balearic Islands Spain
  3. Skibbereen is in West Cork, about a 20 minute drive from me and even closer to the other Andy (aphperspective). Skibb is great - good bus links, shops a-plenty, stuff to shoot and it's where my girlfriend has her café!
  4. Would it be prudent to stay and look a little longer? Take a look at this, there are cheaper options out there: https://www.daft.ie/cork/apartments-for-rent/skibbereen/north-st-skibbereen-cork-1937934/
  5. Edo, that's a crying shame. I really hoped you'd find a place over here, somewhere a little bit out of cities/towns would be cheaper, worth a look?
  6. Another 2 sales dropped in this morning for $$, this is the one that hasn't sold before. Both pics are the same usage. 7. That stands no chance of becoming law - exactly how brain dead is that woman to think her 'contribution' invalidates the photographer's ownership?!!! The mind boggles.
  8. Oh, that's not good. Galway is an expensive place to rent, would you think about changing location?
  9. If only... Anyway, who cares, I've got the sales, that's all that matters!
  10. This of one of 14 which dropped in today. I took a trip to Castletownbere on a whim in May, was well worth it with this sale for a nice $$$. Don't know which newspaper, though. Country: United Kingdom Usage: Editorial Media: Newspaper - national Print run: up to 2 million Placement: Inside and online Image Size: 1/2 page Start: 10 May 2019 End: 11 May 2019 Any placement in paper and online. 11. Up until yesterday I was on 1 sale for the month for exactly $100. I've woken up this morning and that figure has gone up to 15 sales for $571, with 3 (not including the $100 sale) for nice $$$! If you put the work in, STAY POSITIVE, and keep plugging away, it'll happen. Good to see the $$$ sales, too - they're still out there!
  12. Good words. I got fed up with trying to instill some positivity as well, but what you've written makes sense. Hopefully Marb will get some luck his way soon.
  13. Every one of my pics are marked 'Not for Personal Use' and have been for a couple of years. I was sick of dodgy licences and lower fees than $19.99. I'm not going to uncheck that box!
  14. Weather is supposed to be good tomorrow. I'm photographing a conference in Cork city - ugggggh.
  15. I was walking around in a t shirt in West Cork today. Sun is still shining! Good luck with everything Edo, if you need anything, give me a shout.
  16. Plonker!!! 😂🤣😂 Thanks Bill, didn't think of it that way! All that was on my mind was being knackered after climbing a gajillion steps to get the damn pic 🤣
  17. Thanks very much folks - it's been a long and hard road. I'd like to thank my publicist , my manager, the Academy... oh, hang on 😂 Seriously though, if I can do it, anyone can. Matt, how you got 7,000 up in less time than I did 3,000 is beyond me - what an effort! Thanks again guys. 👍
  18. I think Alamy is thriving - I've had 50 sales since 1st January so death is not coming soon.
  19. My port finally rolled over the 3,000 mark this morning, about time, too! I wanted to hit 4,000 by the end of this year, but that won't happen unless a bunch of major stories unravel, or I can be bothered to think about some stock! Yes, I'm slow at building my port, but I'm a very busy boy!
