Date field populated incorrectly
Chris Gibson replied to Chris Gibson's topic in Alamy Quality Control and technical talk
Hi Thanks for the feedback, I have now solved this problem, it was due to IPTC data that was imported when my files were initially ingested into Lightroom. Chris -
Hi I just noticed the last couple of batches of files I have uploaded have the date field populated with the wrong date. The date on my camera is set correctly and both the RAW and converted JPEG files are showing the correct date in the properties in Windows Explorer. But when files clear QC and are ready to keyword the automatically filled DATE field always shows 31 12 2013. I am using Lightroom 5.3 for conversion from RAW to JPEG. I have looked through various dialogue boxes in Lightroom and as far as I am aware nothing is amiss with the export settings. Anyone else had this problem?

I am just adding more info to some of my images and notice that even with 96 images in view there is a lot of unused screen area. Would it perhaps be possible to utilise some of this as a kind of scribble pad where we could type, copy from and paste to? I know I would find this useful as I work my way through images. Chris

I would like to see Alamy develop a free plugin for Adobe Lightroom to enable keywording into the three seperate categories used by Alamy, and maybe also to include the other attribute fields also. I am sure many here must use Lightroom and would welcome such a tool. Chris

It would be good to have an "Add to batch" button on the zoomed version of an image, or the ability to drag the zoomed image to the batch area. Chris
