  1. And remove the offending images from sale! Phil
  2. OK Chuck...Thanks for your reply. I too used lots of Fujichrome in the 80's & 90's, loved it! Am now using a XT1, which is pretty good for travel and to always have a camera with me, but now after 2 years use it's showing a lot more wear & tear than I would expect. Am considering sending it in for an overhaul, and to have the outer rubber/plastic bits replaced as they are peeling and coming loose. Hope their European service is better than your experience in the USA. Phil
  3. Behind the farmer.... Behind the Ice cream seller... Behind the wheel... Phil
  4. He can have the beach but Teide - no way . They're all mine.... But I share... Phil Oh it's yours then as long as you're happily taking the blame when it erupts And your beach is flooded. Allan Have seen the beach flooded, by torrential rainfall, swept cars into the sea But, am still waiting for the mountain to erupt Phil

  6. Last minute dash! Palm on my beach Minimalist sapling. Tree on my mountain Phil
  7. We're not allowed to see that here. Can you itemise the photographs with credits, aor at least copy and paste? I may have something in there. Rest of the photos are not Alamy...Only Peter Widmans. Phil
  8. The Sun, Contributor: Jack Malipan Travel Photography Article about a similarly named mountain in Lanzarote using a photo from Tenerife...Quality journalism strikes again! Phil
  9. Thanks Phil. I can see that page giving the choice using your link, but unfortunately clicking on the old version still redirects to "My Alamy" for me. Geoff. Seems like only Alamy tech boffins can answer why it works for some and not others, regardless of how recently they have used it. Phil
  10. Here's the URL I get from clicking on Manage your images button on my dashboard: http://www.alamy.com/manageimages-redirect.asp Then I just click on whichever version I want. Phil
  11. Well, Alamy calls it the "new version," but it has been around for several years. Interesting. I thought maybe you were seeing the upcoming new tools and I'd missed the announcement. Well the "flash" version works for me at the moment after a quick check. I wasn't aware the old version was still available. Is that the old non-flash method? Geoff. Wishful thinking. Yes, that's the old non-flash version. I still find it useful sometimes. AFAIK my flash player is up-to-date, but I'll check to make sure. Adobe usually nags me mercilessly if it isn't. It's still only available if you use it regularly. If you don't use it for a few months it disappears. Definitely a case of use it or lose it! John. Not true for me! I haven't used the old version for more than a year...just went to it and it's all there just as it used to be! Phil Right, I will have to try it again! One question though, if you click on manage images it just goes to the new version. How do you get to the old version? When I click on Manage Images a new window opens giving me both options, then I choose .... Phil

  18. Here's one that I never expected to sell.... Nor this one.... I've also had sales of photographed to death landmarks that surprised me due to the fact that there are lots of better(IMHO) photos of the same out there. Not complainin'.... Phil
  19. Some quintessentially Dublin photos, which is where I'm from: Music, Art, & Fashion.... Phil
  20. Although I don't sell much to the UK newspapers, I do sell some there, but living abroad means I don't get to see the papers, and even using google search only brings up sales where I am credited, so I really have no way of checking where my images may be getting used and not reported. It would be great if there was some centralised database of newspapers sales as this would then reassure me that they are being logged. Phil
  21. Here's one.... Manipulated to look a bit like a drawing. And another... Rusty pear! And lastly... Colour manipulated artificial palm tree. Phil
