  1. I'm sure I had this, but then it changed back and payment had been initiated.
  2. Back to April now. Did I imagine it was May? Wish I had taken a screen shot now.
  3. My dashboard said I was due to be paid today but now it is saying 1st May! Is that an April Fool? I've had it change by a few days before but never an entire month. Thankfully it's not a huge sum and I'm not in need of it, but...
  4. My Darktable experience was good with a very old (around 10 years) quad core Phenom processor, 8Gb Ram. What made it usable was the addition of a suitable graphics processor that enabled openCL. It was a relatively high end graphics card when it was new (AMD RX480) but was old and used when I bought it so cost me around £70. It was too slow prior to that. Changes to sliders would take ages to update the preview. I've since spent a bit more upgrading to a new motherboard and a Ryzen 2700 which has increased the responsiveness again, but that made less noticeable difference than the graphics card.
  5. I installed it some time ago and don't recall having any major issues. I haven't tried anything newer than CS2 however. I'm about to do a fresh install onto an nvme drive in the next few weeks so I will let you know how it goes.
  6. I've been using Linux (Ubuntu) for many years. I use Darktable in place of Lightroom but never got used to GIMP so I run PS (CS2) using Wine, which is a software layer that allows Windows software to run natively on a Linux desktop. It's not perfect but it stops me having to pay Microsoft anything.

  8. I'm on track to get the same number of sales but revenue is only about 80% of where is should be to match last year. I had some good 3 figure sales last year which boosted revenue.
  9. Best year ever and last year was the previous BYE. One more sale compared to 2016 but gross revenue close to double thanks to a a good number of 3 figure sales.
  10. I use it, very happy with it but then I've never used LR. I think if I had already been a LR user I probably would have found the different interface frustrating as I never made the switch from Photoshop to Gimp despite trying.
  11. There is a Japanese theme to my three this month: Miso soup for breakfast served in a black lacquer bowl on a red/orange tray. Ramen noodles with roast pork for lunch Okonomyaki (kind of a cross between pancake and omelet with shredded cabbage and meat) for evening meal topped with mayonnaise and "okonomyaki" sauce cooked on a tepanyaki hot plate.
  12. Chuffed to have made the final cut for the first time. Thank you.
  13. Thank you, I have tried to be very critical of what I upload and aim for variety rather than quantity.
  14. Close to 38000 donut photos and over 7000 on white.
  15. An iconic car from an iconic film. Classic toy.
  16. Two $125 sales yesterday. Sales this month are up to 60% of the whole of last year. I'm hoping this is an ongoing trend.
  17. My last PU sale was of Jason Bradbury presenting at The Gadget Show Live. I thought it was an odd subject for personal use until I later found out it was bought by .... Jason Bradbury to put on his Twitter feed.
  18. "horse" is pretty generic. If you have images of a specific breed of horse, or a famous rider on a horse, or a horse in an unusual place, etc. it may still be worth adding.
  19. Thought I would share some good news. A $150 sale from yesterday has taken my total above last year by some margin and last year was my previous best Number of sales is still less than three quarters so I'm getting a higher average sale which I'm happy about. And my CTR did this ... And it is my birthday tomorrow. If there wasn't the risk of a refund, I would be buying myself a birthday present.
  20. It was at the lower price on Curry's web site this morning. Looks suspiciously like an error.
  21. Currys have dropped their price to around £2400 less than the next best price. If you use Quidco you'll get another 1% cashback too. http://www.camerapricebuster.co.uk/Nikon/Nikon-FX-Lenses/Nikon-AF-S-500mm-f4E-FL-ED-VR-Lens
