  1. Sorry this is off topic but the mention of the Isle of Skye reminded me of a Youtube channel that I've recently discovered called 'Photography Online' which is based on the Isle. It has been going for just over a year and personally I'm finding it very informative with a lively and high quality presentation, think Countryfile with a touch of Top Gear. I'm not in any way connected with it but just thought if anyone would like to check it out the link is here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPGVcUjuoNmZopQcMsoo1Ww They take you to some stunning locations in Scotland checking out loca

  6. Hi all Can anyone help with identifying this shrub please, flowers in late May UK. Leaves taken with phone camera a couple of days ago. It's about 12' tall. Many thanks. Elaine
  7. Hi Alamy A reverse selection button would be handy for the image manager. For example, all my images are exclusive to Alamy so have marked them as such, but on comparing the total images filter with exclusive to Alamy filter there were some images that I had forgotten to mark. If there was a reverse selection button it would have brought up the missing images instead of having to go through them all looking for the missing ones. Apologies if this has been covered already or if I have missed this facility. Many thanks. Elaine
  8. Hi Rob Don't think the worst just yet, I uploaded last Saturday evening and just passed this evening.
  9. Yes I would say the zoom is smooth, just went to check it.
  10. Hello Spacecadet I know you are probably asking about the autofocus on the Tamron 17-50 2.8 lens, I have always used manual focus, but just thought I would say that I am very pleased with this lens which I got for my ancient but loved Canon 20d. I needed a wide angle for an assignment last year so got this as I am also on a budget. I'm only an amateur and I'm afraid I can't add much technical insight, but I have never failed a submission to Alamy using it. Hope this is of some help. Regards Elaine
