I am not sure if you consider it fair or not. What you get for an image is what the client is willing to pay. I use stock photography to make images available that I may not otherwise sell directly to clients. Usually from projects I assign myself. I don't look at stock as a way to pay the bills, just another way to get some income for my images. I know that on other sites I get pennies for some of the sales. I don't even bother trying to track who purchased the rights, it isn't worth the time and I don't want to know who would rather buy stock than hire directly for a specific shoot.

Thank you all so much for your responses, yes, signing out and back in did the trick. As for naming the butterflies and giving their Latin names, I will have to go back to the conservatory and record this information as I don't know one from the other. I searched what I could on the net, but even then didn't find all of them.

Hi, I posted a while ago that I couldn't find my images, I got some great help and realize that if I go to my profile, under "Alamay" it shows the number of images and I can view them there. Now my problem is that when I do this it shows '4'. These are the original 4 submissions I put up for acceptance to Alamay. When I go to manage images, I do a search for images on sale, it shows all 17 images I have had accepted. Why can I not see them in the profile images count? Are all 17 viewable by potential clients? What is the best way to view my Alamay portfolio so I know that images are viewable

I am new to Alamay. I also post to Bigstockphoto.com and Istockphoto.com. I have no problem viewing my own images on either of these other two sites, but I have not been able to see where my images are on Alamay, Is there a spot for a contributors portfolio with Alamay? I am trying to learn this site and this is probably the first of a few (read many) questions I may have. Thank you for any and all assistance. Robert Connelly
