  1. When I made this decision, I looked at how often I tended to upgrade, and was the price of my upgrade pattern comparable to the cost of the subscription. I use both Lightroom and Photoshop, and I tended to upgrade every other version. So when I compared the cost of buying upgrades to both programs every 24 months, it was very similar to the $9.99/month subscription to CC (for just Photoshop and Lightroom.) So I went for it, and ALWAYS have the latest version now. But... do the math for yourself, because YMMV. (Your Mileage May Vary.)
  2. Well... apparently I wasn't in the sin bin. It just took 4 days for my images to pass. Interesting, but good news none-the-less!
  3. I've been using Eset Anti-Virus for years. (Not the full suite, just the anti-virus.) It has one of the lightest foot-prints (least performance hits) and always ranks in the top. Not free, but, while you don't always get what you pay for, you almost never get what you DON'T pay for. (Been in the IT business since 1996, so have direct experience with most anti-virus packages out there.)
  4. Many a MONTH? I just failed for the first time in quite a while (not 166 though, I must say) and I'm stuck there myself. How long are they keeping us there these days? (And the embarrassing part is... once I realized the submission wasn't going to pass, I realized I probably shouldn't have taken the chance on that one image. It's a really cool inland waterway shot from Murrell's Inlet, SC too. Questionable sharpness though, I bet. :-(
  5. That last batch finally passed. I've submitted 4 batches of images so far with no failures, however the first few batches were smaller. The fact that the last batch took so long made me go over this next one with a fine-tooth comb, so hopefully they'll pass too. How many images do you guys usually submit in a batch? I've only be submitting about 4 or 5, but now that I've had several batches pass, I'm getting braver and submitting larger batches.
  6. First 4 submissions all were approved within 3 days or less. This current submission is going on 4 days now, so I'm assuming it will be rejected... Do they provide adequate feedback that I'll know what to work on? (Assuming this submission is rejected.)
