  1. In London, it is being told that I am photographing on 'private land' to be the issue I encounter the most problems with. Such places are always publicly accessible but have imposed rules especially with regards to filming and photography. While I can understand needing to have a filming policy for a movie shoot or a music video it is ridiculous that a 'one size fits all' policy also stops me from photographing with my fixed lens compact camera.
  2. I was searching for a thread on this topic as I have an image that sold six months ago but remains uncleared. Maybe time to ask Alamy for an update?
  3. Hi Allan. Won't be able to make this one so will defer until next time. All the best to you, Doc and all the other Cambridge group regulars. Anthony
  4. Usage: Personal use, Personal prints, cards and gifts. Non-commercial use only, not for resale.
  5. As others have started reporting, I also have reached the same number of sales as recorded across the whole of last year. Good news. Revenue is a little more than 10% down this year on last year for the same number of sales however.
  6. NU Editorial website and app multiple use. Must remember to opt out of Novel Use in April....
  7. Mine also standing at 0.5 but last month was 0.52 so nothing really to speak of a drop.
  8. Indeed nor is public liability and indemnity cover usually included - but can be bought as separate cover.
  9. First of the month - use in a presentation/talk (eg,Powerpoint and Keynote) or in a newsletter.
  10. At the half way point of 2018 I'm at 2/3rds of the number of sales from 2017 and slightly more in terms of revenue and that is despite June being a washout. So all in all upwards and onwards.
  11. Matterhorn from Gornergrat. Editorial, Poland, Web use, Bulk Discount, Flat Rate. Distributor sale - price ouch!
  12. I too have bought (and sold) with Ffordes and keep a look out for second hand lenses there and on eBay too. Very happy with all the bought items and so I haven't bought new in quite a while.
  13. If my maths are correct then sales are up 28% and revenue 24% year on year If I can grow the portfolio to over 1500 images this year I'd be pleased.
  14. I'm confused really by the requirements for permits for all photography in London's Royal Parks. I can understand why film crews or certain commercial photographic shoots would be required to apply for a permit but editorial, really?
  15. Slightly off topic but related - I see there are many images on Alamy of the Royal Parks. Did all these photographers of stock images really have permits?
  16. Perhaps this permit is aimed at the wedding photography market?
  17. Solution on Safari is to delete the stored Alamy cookie, well, at least a temporary solution as I've not tested it long term. Captcha still there of course!! Go to Preferences/Privacy/Manage website data.
  18. And +1 I get looped back everytime........managed to get in here though.
