Paying your own TAX
BqarbaraL replied to BqarbaraL's topic in Stock photography discussion and contributor experience
Well guys.. thanks for all the advice....I have also had advice from someone who is self employed "not in photography" .. I showed him the forum on how much members are earning on this site... the outcome was.. If I am not going to join a number of stock sites and put up a few 1000s images very soon its just not worth employing an accountant to sort my income out.. ""yes what income" . Some of the members who have been doing stock for years and have 1000s of stock on this site and I suppose others sites as well are only topping there full time wages up... well I don't want to go dow -

"fat chance of that tho" .. you have made me feel very uncomfortable now..... I don't want know if I want to sell any images or even carry on with this site .. How can I be judged w -

Hi Paulette I know it might look like a false economy but I've just spent nearly £500 on camera and tripod and the thought of spending another £100 makes me nervous, especially as I already have Photoshop Elements 9 on the computer. Will muse on it. Thanks for the link. Jan I downloaded the Lightroom free trial but I can't find my way around it at all. I can't find my way around my camera, either, and I'm beginning to wonder if I've made a huge and expensive mistake. The few pictures I took are dreadful at 100% (and not, come to that, I can't seem to set it up properly).
