  1. Very quiet

Sorry guys, I meant zooms not views! Views are ok but that's about it….
  2. Very quiet

What is your secret Alan? I guess you won't tell the world anyway
  3. Very quiet

Yes, I don't have quite as many photos as you Kathy. Time for some more shooting!
  4. Very quiet

I am just wondering if anybody else has noticed a drop in views and sales lately? Maybe it's just me?
  5. Have you found any Alamy photographs? January 2014

Somehow the above photo didn't load, sorry! If you follow the link you will find it. It is a photograph of a girl jogging in front of an old building in Boston. Bye!
  6. Have you found any Alamy photographs? January 2014

I finally sold another photo on Tuesday to Forbes in Russia. http://www.forbes.ru/forbeslife-photogallery/dosug/247673-begom-za-gidom-10-gorodov-mira-gde-mozhno-sovmestit-probezhku-i/photo/4 file://localhost/Users/stevoa/Downloads/DDJCRG.jpg
  7. Messing with pseudos.

Thanks for this information. I have been wondering about that too. Looking at how many photos you guys have I have some time to make a decision anyway Will hopefully upload around 100 this weekend.
  8. First sale popped up :)

    Congratulations Mirco!
  9. Its official - as of 18 October 0.0 CTR

I am having the same problem but I am uploading as many as possible at the moment and will see how that works out. I too have a full time job and this is more of a hobby so it will take me a while. I will just try to enjoy the ride and hopefully get a few sales in between. I wish you luck!
  10. Hooray! made it into Creative

I would also love to know how it works. My images seem to sometimes appear under creative and other times not. Anyway, I wouldn't mind if I was actually selling more! Views and zooms seem to be on the rise though...
  11. Help! Sold first image quickly and since then barely any zooms

True! I already do it for a long time, and still learn new tricks now and then. Not only about adding, but also about eliminating keywords AND words in the caption. Seems like an ongoing learning process Always nice to see better sales after making major alterations. Cheers, Philippe Nice photos Phillippe! Respect.

  13. Help! Sold first image quickly and since then barely any zooms

Agreed - and perhaps not enough of others - eg. just one of the pyramids? So keep 'em coming with more like this: But also, Alamy has said in the past that contributors should perhaps play the buyer's role when editing, to help one decide if this is what buyers want - and I'm thinking of these as examples: Thanks Richard. Yes I do actually have a lot more from Cairo. Thanks for the reminder. I will upload.
  14. Help! Sold first image quickly and since then barely any zooms

All good advice. I have come to realize key wording is an art-form in itself. One which I haven't yet mastered, except one that I have to learn
  15. Help! Sold first image quickly and since then barely any zooms

Hi everyone. Thanks for all of your help and advice. I agree, I had trouble with white backgrounds at the start. I am working on that point and think I have it down pat now. I guess the most difficult part to learn is what a customer wants to buy. Time will tell. I will keep uploading and cross my fingers Cheers! Steve
