  1. I want to submit a picture with a deep blue sky (polarized). When I look at this image in the Windows viewer, I see artefacts in the sky. I see no artefacts when I open the same JPEG image in Photoshop. I guess that it's safe to upload it to Alamy?
  2. It seems that this option will be available next April. Thanks for the information!
  3. I just had a distributor sale to Estonia for the lowest amount I ever got for a picture. It possibly doesn't pay for the electricity my computer is using while I'm typing this post. Since there is a chance that this picture will be copied by other users and used for free, I would prefer to make my images unavailable to Estonia (sorry, Estonians). Is it possible to do that? I would also like to say that I had a few nice sales recently and that I'm generally quite happy to have Alamy selling my pictures.
  4. Record month for the number of sales (20) and one of the worst, if not the worst, for average price ($15.50).
  5. I also like "lumbersexual". Like in "young attractive lumbersexual man sipping on a latte while leaning on his fixie bike during an LGBT protest march".
  6. When I reported some (many) of my Alamy watermarked images used on websites without a registered download, Alamy answered that they couldn't pursue the infringers because the site was based in a country (most often Panama) that was out of their reach, so to speak.
  7. Is there a way to download a sales report as a PDF or Excel file? I'm only able to download a CSV file and DACS asks for PDF or Excel.
  8. Thank you. Since I 'm kind of incompetent with computers, it looks to me like the solutions are too complicated, so I'll keep on clicking and clicking, and clicking...
  9. Is there a way to select multiple keywords from a picture to copy them to a second image at the same time, instead of clicking on one keyword at the time?
  10. I found some of my images on this website http://www.wallskid.com/, with the Alamy watermark still on. Images that have never been sold, I want to report the site to Alamy, but I can't find any contact detail, so Alamy won't pursue it. Anyone has contact details or experience with wallskid.com?
  11. I had exactly the same number of sales as for 2016. For 35% less money.
  12. Thank you all, your answers are very helpful. Wiskerke, I'll check my browser.
  13. I just connected a new Benq 2700PT computer screen to my latop which I've been using to edit my pictures for 3 years. I realize that many of my pics on Alamy seem oversaturated on this new screen (I adjusted it as well as I could, without a calibrating device). If any of you could take a minute to look at a few of my pictures, I would appreciate to obtain feedback (mainly to know if some images are oversaturated to the point that I could lose sales). Thanks
  14. Hi, I just got a personal use sale for an image which was zoomed yesterday. Am I wrong to think that Alamy only recorded data from regular customers and that a ''regular customer'' doesn't usually buy images for personal use?
  15. Never upload pictures on the internet. It consumes precious energy.
  16. Yes, but the image from which I want to copy the keywords is way way down the list (it was uploaded a few years ago), and I don't know how to access both images on the same page.
