  1. 23rd April - Highland Games coming up here in Scotland... Country: Worldwide Usage: Personal use, Personal prints, cards and gifts. Non-commercial use only, not for resale. Media: Non-commercial, one time, personal/home use
  2. 3rd April - Highland Dancers at a Scottish Highland Games event. PU.
  3. Sold on the 21st. Magazine, Editorial or Print use. Made enough to pay for a couple of drinks anyway!
  4. Christmas lights on Union Street, Aberdeen.
  5. Three distributor sales in one day - a good day for sales but not a lot for revenue! Here's one of them - the Durham Miner's Gala from a few years ago. The others were from the same event.
  6. Massed pipe bands parading at the Dufftown Highland Games in Scotland
  7. There are some utilities available which will disable the Windows 10 update and remove the files it may have already downloaded in preparation... see Steve Gibson's site at https://www.grc.com/never10.htm Works fine as far as I can tell. I used it on a laptop which I'd tried to upgrade and had problems with - despite Windows saying it was compatible - I backed off and ran the utility. It's never asked or prompted since. On the other hand, I have a old desktop which I upgraded to Windows 10 and it's fine, with appropriate changes (Classic Shell) to remove all the rubbish new interface stuff. ETA: I see PaulW beat me to it! Oh well, let's say I second his motion...
  8. A Kittiwake in Oklahoma? Hardly likely. They're maritime gulls and rarely seen even at the coast this time of year. But I don't know much about American gulls so I can't really make any suggestions...
  9. I'm a bit late to this thread, but I had my first sale on 4th January - and it was one of those $180 ones, full page - hopefully it won't morph into something less! And another (not as much, but a useful amount) since! That makes it a good month for me.
  10. I'm puzzled. I have a sale from 30th October - it shows in my Sales History, and in my balance (uncleared, so far), but it doesn't appear under Alamy Measures, although sales made since then do... anyone have any idea why that might be?
  11. Black Rapid RS-7 for me - the single most useful accessory I've ever bought. See http://www.blackrapid.com/products/straps. Works especially well using the FastenR ring with Manfrotto tripod plates.
  12. I'd agree that there's no reason you shouldn't continue with both Alamy and microstock - although the micro subscription sites, IMO, are best avoided except perhaps for your poor sellers. But that's just how I play it, your mileage may vary. That said though, I don't find Editorial very succesful in microstock, so if as you say you have several thousand editorial images that haven't sold there you might well be better off to remove those and put them here as Alamy RM. At least if they do sell, you ought to get a bit more for them! Best of luck anyway...
