  1. Past hour
  2. I think it is ok, too. Sure we all celebrate with you for your sale 😃 And envy you too
  3. Thank you for asking but it's fine and I'm not sure anyway about deleting as I actually thought it was a point of this thread to show images and say what they are used for but could be I'm wrong, it has been known😉 just thought it was nice to share some good news in these exacting times.... Carol
  4. Plenty of distance here John, we've half an acre which includes a woodland area with around a hundred hydrangeas under a 90ft Monterey Cyprus - my favourite place for a coffee. Take care, welcome any time, Tony
  5. Do you want me to delete my posts which refers to your image?
  6. It's obviously reacting to the easing of lockdown restrictions.
  7. There's no shortage of close up insect shots on Alamy so I think there's space for good shots of them in the wider habitat. Lots of copy space!
  8. Thanks again, John. I didn't think I'd be captionless for long. Not up to your standard, of course, but it was opportunistic out on the patio with the long end of the 55-200. Not the sharpest tool in the box.
  9. Country: Worldwide ; Usage: Commercial electronic ; Media: Website, app and social media ; Start: 10-July-2020 ; End: 10-July-2025 ;Additional Details: Websites, apps, social media and blogs (excludes advertising). Worldwide for 5 years. Lowish $$
  10. Mysteriously, my RX100-6 started working again today. I carried it around, turned it on and off several time, used a number of functions, yet it kept working. I'm not confident that it will continue to do so. I enjoy kit when it works, hate it when it does not.
  11. Thanks for that, Tony. Wednesday afternoon brain fade obviously kicked in. I should know my own county - even if it is t'other end. Thanks for the offer. Though should we meet you might consider the space between Sidmouth and Plymouth to be barely enough social distancing. 😁
  12. Today
  13. John, many congrats on your win! Now I know this is simply a typo on your part, (the caption on your photo is correct), however your picture of Seaton is in fact here in Sidmouth. 😀 Next time you're down this way, pop in for a socially distanced cup of coffee in the garden! Cheers Tony
  14. Thanks again, but I can't delete posts from others😉 Carol
  15. Image and Image ref. Nothing to gain from advertising which image it is, and from the image ref which country it is.
  16. Thanks all, comments on all noted. Re: cranes - so many of them everywhere we go nowadays, I came to the conclusion a long time ago, if you can't get something out of the image, just include it. Georgphotos, do you mean delete text and/or image ? Carol
  17. I’ve never identified a species of hover fly. I just tag “hoverfly”! Insects can be hard.
  18. I have some magazines from 1990, 'The Los Angeles Times' Sunday magazine. I was wondering what are the copyright issues if I photographed the covers and put them through as stock images? Can anyone give any advice. Thanks in advance.
  19. I used your image ID to search for it: https://www.alamy.com/marfret-guyane-container-ship-at-port-of-spain-trinidad-tobago-image228713192.html In that page I just drag and drop the image to a new tab. Then copy the obtained URL and paste it in "Insert image from URL" in my post. This is the URL: https://c7.alamy.com/comp/R82P08/marfret-guyane-container-ship-at-port-of-spain-trinidad-tobago-R82P08.jpg I'm using Safari 11 in MacOS El Capitan. Cheers!
  20. Personally I would be reluctant to post image details for use on a banknote - security, forgery etc Might be better to delete?
  21. It's the marmalade hoverfly, Episyrphus balteatus. This one: Lots of those in my garden at the moment. Just come back from the local nature reserve (it's only a few hundred yards from my house so an easy walk) with a fair few insect images. A quick browse through suggests I've got about 2 worth keeping. Field macro is hard work for little reward. 😀
