  1. Past hour
  2. This two days, blessed. Pretty good $$ for all. I stood like 10 mins to get this architecture shot. Sold again! Sold for the first time, just this morning. Was baked in the hot sun.. 🥵
  3. I certainly dont worry about reaching 50 keywords, I only keyword relevant words and phrases, I do always include location and country though, particularly as 80% of my images are outside the UK
  4. For the first time, after upload this. Sold it in less than 6 months, this should be the very first. Pretty good $$ Uploaded 2015, finally, someone appreciate it. Thank you. Low $ (ain't complaining) Fastest ever sold on the same month! Taylor Swift. Low $
  5. Manchester, UK. 12th June, 2023. Fans wait as Manchester City Football Club gets ready to hold an open top bus victory parade in central Manchester, UK, to mark the achievement of winning the treble: the Premier League, the FA Cup, and the Champions League. On Saturday Man City beat Inter Milan in Istanbul to secure the Champions League win. The parade of open top buses went through Manchester city centre watched by large, enthusiastic crowds, despite a thunderstorm and heavy rain. 6. You have some good images, so I would expect more sales than that. Keyboarding does need some work in my opinion, remove keywords that aren't actually in the picture - for example vegetation in your picture of a helicopter and then focus on what the image actually conveys.
  7. Nice shots Perth is a really lovely city Went there in 2019 but missed out on a lot of it Hope to go back sometime to explore more of Perth and also go up to Karratha too
  8. Totally understand your pain point and I also have my fair share of frustration before. Am not an expert but I think it is determine by a few factors. The need of the images by buyer, minimise keywords spamming, or even similar image already is saturated. You got many awesome images, description and keywords is pretty on point. I suggest do look around the forum to study what other members had shared. Also in your acct overview, look at 'What shoot I shoot', particularly in your region, look at 'Alamy Measures' data too. I hope you had a bunch of great sales real soon.
  9. Three sales in two days for very low $$ each Outback roadtrain with cattle, Camooweal 4WD track through termite mounds and Ptilotus flowers, Pilbara region Feeding aggregation of purple coral-eating snails, with the skeleton of the coral they've just consumed
  10. Today
  11. One of my better sales this month -- mid $$, multiple editorial use Puebla, Mexico
  12. On a recent trip to the city I enjoyed limiting myself to one lens, a wide angle zoom. I was working with 8-16mm and having that set limitation I find helps with creativity and exploring options within limitations. There is a convict-built building in Perth constructed from 1856-1860 known as the Cloisters building. I was impressed with its decorative brickwork. I also really liked the Port Jackson Fig Tree located next to it within the area of The Rusty Fig restaurant. Both the building and tree are heritage-listed. Shooting at the wider end I could get some of the canopy of the fig tree. It's lovely to see such an old tree with character in the middle of a city.

  14. Thanks Mark, I know you are spot on with your advice, it is the one thing I always struggle with deciding which images to use. My CTR is .69
  15. Not sure what happened but welcome back Edo! Gen, the semi-Brazilian Australian Froggie.

  21. I've noticed just the opposite, lower fees due to the new "standard licenses", which seem to be increasingly popular. However, I do have a bigger than average payout coming this month, plus some "other income". 🙂
  22. I just gave Nitro Photo (https://www.gentlemencoders.com/nitro-for-macos/index.html) another spin. OP (Ian) might find it very useful for ranking & culling. There's no need to import images into a catalog first (just open existing folders and it possibly builds a catalogue as it goes) I was able to zoom and pan up to 12 images simultaneously and star rate each one. Very impressive. Runs very smoothly on my 2017 iMac, must be lightning fast on an M series Mac. Mark
  23. Pay her a very small sum or take her out to dinner and divide the cost as payment over however many photos. You're not likely to get sued by your wife, are you? My understanding is that payment makes a contract valid, even if only one peppercorn.
  24. Thanks very much for the spots SShep. It's good to know where they get to.
