Black banana tree. Hmmm. Actually they're seed pods of some sort. I'm unsure which but they don't look very tasty.

I wonder what they're saying? At one point they were pointing, so I'm guessing they're asking for directions.

Did a LOT of Live News weather photos today. These are my favourite ones - And please remember, they're camera processed as that's the only way when in the field.  :D  I'll only post the ones I'm fairly happy with though. It's been hot and sunny today so these are all pictures intended to get that summery feeling across.

A Moorhen in a park.

I don't know if it's a butterfly or a moth, so I put both in the metadata. I'll change it.....some day, when I have nothing else to do (i.e. never).

A bus driver, smoking, with green hair.

"Hey, Geoff, you splendid, talented and skilful man  - What the heck has that got to do with hot weather?"

Hmmmm good point! Well I hoped it might make a news editor smile, so why not? It was just one of many. Will be good for stock.

Tch Tch Geoff.

What have I told you about calling ladies "cows".  Write 2000 lines (1000 per lady).  "I must NOT denigrate the female of our species."

Allan

Don't you wish Philippe was here?

Good point, I hadn't thought of that. They probably melted in the heat we've had here today.

I used to have a French teacher at school called Mrs Allan. Just thought I'd let you know - Not sure why, but I just thought of it.  :)
