July Challenge - Street Art

Thanks everyone who voted for my photograph in the Festivals challenge.

For this challenge I'm choosing one of my favorite subjects, Street Art

Please submit up to three images from your Alamy collection of art in the street or other outdoor areas.

The contest will finish at midnight 31st July.

EDIT: My concept is to show street art in public space and if photographers choose, to show how people and others interact with it, or how the work interacts with the space within it exists. Not so much to simply document someone else's work, or show art intended to hang on a wall that's been left out on the street.

Here are some examples -

PS How can the images be enlarged like the rest in this thread?

When you search for the file number, click on the image to open it.

When the prices are displayed next to it, right click on the image and copy the address.

If it helps, my intermediate-sized ones are copied straight from the pop-up in AIM. Click on the "+" at the top left of the thumbnail. Right-click, copy image.

Well done on last month's win! Your choice this time isn't exactly my strongpoint, certainly set me thinking though .:)

Street Art, what a fun topic! I was just at the Banksy Exhibit in Amsterdam yesterday as a matter of fact.

It's a good choice of subject... it will be really difficult to judge however!

Anyway.. my entries were all taken in and around Brick Lane in East London.

Matt,

Great to see that you caught Wasp Elder doing that piece in Hanbury Sreet!! (assuming that's him in the pic?)

I assume it was him.. whoever it was, they were definitely doing the painting, had a plan and knew what they were doing. But they didn't look inclined for a chat and as it wasn't finished and signed, I didn't know the artist.. so thank you for your comment as I can go add  the artist name to the keywords!
