BoBman Posted June 16, 2017 Share Posted June 16, 2017 Hi, I wrote the first word then pasted in the remainder and the space vanished and it became a tag. tried again with a double space and same happened, no space, was not useable, Had to type out the several words by hand. Why is it when pasting in text taken from e.g. wikipedia (< 10 words) it assumes the tag has to be created at that moment in time. No ability to create tags as such with copy paste. wiskerke Posted June 17, 2017 Share Posted June 17, 2017 +1 Yes. Please. However it is very useful if you type or copy/paste all keywords and key phrases in an intermediate document. Any notepad page will do. Just put in commas at the end of each word or phrase and copy all. Now paste into the input box and the whole list will appear as tags in the right order. It may or may not be how this tool was intended, but it's the only way to get the tags in the exact order and also the only way to edit tags. Pity it's so very hard to remove a tag with a pen. Since this tool was introduced, some 6 months ago there has been quite some discussion and complaining about it here. The workaround is to paste it into notepad, edit it accordingly, then cut and paste back into AIM. But it really shouldn't be like that - it's counter intuitive, and hinders good, accurate keywording, which Alamy is trying to promote. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
