Could it be some kind of Mercedes Unimog? Any army specialists out there?

Cheers,

Philippe

HELP :o

Any idea which vehicle this might be. Riding it are Belgian para-commandos during a re-enactment. Not even sure if this vehicle is used by the Belgian army. Zooming in doesn't reveal any brand nor logo.

Cheers,

Philippe

That Mercedes star is quite visible.

It would probably help to know which era they were re-enacting.

I think that's a truck, Philippe. It's certainly not a cow because it's utterly without udders.

Think I got it: Mercedes-Benz Unimog 404 judging the wheels and shape of the radiator guard.

I think so too.

An older (early sixties?) Long Range Patrol Vehicle; Special Forces Gun Truck.

Now called PatSAS-Unimog.

Amy ideas please? August, UK. They're planted with other flowers. They aren't as tall as they look in this. Maybe about half a metre tall.

Thanks,

Salvia farinacea 'Strata'.  Tender perennial grown as an annual for summer bedding.  Very attractive effect.

Thank you very much indeed John. I'm always so grateful that you're willing to give me and others the benefit of your flower/plant expertise. These ones do look lovely. I had another walk through the same park yesterday and they didn't look as colourful and vibrant, so maybe I caught them just at the right time.

Thanks again John,

Geoff.
