For animals and plants you must be very specific in your captions and also include the scientific name. Keywording is very important because if clients don't see your images you won't sell. Do some more research on  how to keyword -- including Alamy instructions.

Welcome to Alamy.  :)

Others have mentioned keywords so I'll say a bit about your images if that's ok.

J0K8DM
You seem to have done a vignette effect on this, and it doesn't really work, in my opinion. Generally don't bother with such effects. If the client wants to change the image, they're free to do so, so it's best to give them all the image for them to adjust as they like.

HYYC8X
A very tight crop, which should be avoided as it leaves no room for the client to add text. Also, although it's hard to be sure without seeing at 100%, it looks like focus isn't on the eye but the top part of the wing. Always focus on the eye of animals unless it's obviously not the point of interest. Put the type of Eagle in the Captions and Tags too.

Watch for lighting. It's great to have other things in the frame as well as the subject, but that tree is far too dark, too close to the edge, and crocked. If you include other things in an image, make sure they look right. Also think about the angle you're at when taking shots like this. Lower is usually better, as looking down from a standing position looks amateurish. In a case like that it's also going to have a better chance of being used if the geese (Canada geese I think?) are taken from the side or front, not the back. Not always possible, I know.

HYYC9C
Again, watch the light. The shadows are nasty and it looks like the sun was fairly high in the sky, which should be avoided most times. It would have been better to get more of the bench in too.

One more tip - If you aren't happy with a shot, even one that's a rare opportunity, reject it. I often do that and have today actually, but if it won't be licensed or gets rejected by Alamy, it's no good to you anyway and will only affect your rank.

Good luck,
Geoff.

HYYC8X - I think you meant "soaring" for the eagle, not "souring".

Your pink flower. Nobody will search for it or find it. You must give the common name and the scientific name. I have a zoom right now where the buyer only used the scientific name, not the common name. Next time, it may be the common name.

Sometimes I've spent hours searching online to identify a plant or flower. I know my birds pretty well, and have bought a book showing Birds of North America. There are a few birds that appear very similar, so it can be hard to get the right identification.

If you ID your image wrong, a buyer might get print wrong info and lose face.

If you can't ID something, don't upload it.
