  1. Have you found any alamy PhotographsFeb 2015

06/02/2015, Promoted feed by Better Energy on Twitter, DJ2CJH, Mikael Damkie [No credit - poss not via Alamy]
  2. Dilemma

Dilemma? What Dilemma??? Go tell them to take a running jump!
  3. HDR news?

According to the Alamy News Twitter feed... it's coming soon!
  4. HDR news?

I'm agree with you wholeheartedly Sultanpea. I saw these in the newsfeed on Fri and was very surprised to say the least! I think it calls into question Alamy's integrity as a reliable source for news photos if HDR is allowed to go through as news
  5. weather pics?

Looks like Terry Mathews has got the front page of The Times tomorrow.... and very well deserved too!
  6. Calling Dog Breed Experts

I'm not an expert on dog breeds but I have two Cockapoo's and they dont look like that. The ears are too straight for a Cockapoo in my opinion. I can understand how it might be a part poodle but not part Cocker Spaniel.
  7. Alamy Live News - Exclusivity

When I first started uploding to the news feed I spoke to a woman in the Live News team and she asked me if the photos were exclusive to Alamy (They were only weather photos). I dont know what she did with that information but circumstances can change. How do they know if the photographs I'm uploading now are exclusive or not? The simple truth is... They don't
  8. Alamy Live News - Exclusivity

Thanks Mike, For clarification The original suggestion was for an "exclusive" box so that Alamy could be sure that they were the only agency that had access to the photographs. This allows them to negotiate higher prices knowing the photos are exclusive to Alamy. They could potentially be sold to multiple outlets but be sure that they were'nt being haggled down on price because they are available elsewhere.
  9. Alamy Live News - Exclusivity

Thanks for your input Phil. This is obviously only of interest to people who submit to the Live News feed. At a time when there is a lot of mumbling about falling prices I would have thought that this would be a no-brainer.
  10. Alamy Live News - Exclusivity

I realise this is similar to another thread on here, but I would like to see an exclusivity box for Live News uploads. The implications are quite obvious and would be beneficial to both Alamy and the relevant contributors. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated... especially from Alamy
