Please make the image manager easier on the eyes.

I am finding the tagging and captioning of my images on new submissions very visually challenging. These are my suggestions.

1. Make the faded tags darker so that they are easier to read. I am finding them pretty unusable as they are.

2. Give us a larger and more distinct font in the caption, the location, and the additional information fields.

3. Make the location field bigger so that the entire location can be seen at once. It is pretty hard to proofread now when the location is a long one and part of it disappears.

4. In the view that increases the size of the right panel please also increase the caption and location fields instead of decreasing them as happens now.

Thank you for considering these changes..

Why tags at all? It's just text.

If it was just text, spell check would work.

Copy & paste would work.

Dragging would work.

Ctrl-Z would work.

Ctrl-A would work.

Even delete would work.

Wouldn't that be great?

And yes it could be easier on some peoples' eyes.

I agree in part, though I do like the entry of multi word tags without having to add the right sort of inverted commas around everything.

There are lots of things to like about the new Image Manager but I agree that the faded (grey tags) are hard to read. I also hate to do more clicking than is necessary and find the 'Clear selection' 'x' redundant. That it is at the top of the screen while the 'Save' button is at the bottom makes it all the more infuriating. I suggest that 'Clear selection' happen automatically when we 'Save' or at least add a new button. 'Clear and Save' beside the current 'Save' one.

+4500 (or whatever my current image count happens to be) Couldn't agree more, it's a pain to read and my eyes aren't even senior!

Thanks, Geoff for bumping this up. Whenever I open the image manager I feel angry. Not helpful to me or anybody else but that's what happens. All they needed to do was to keep the previous one with larger thumbnails and the ability to append and delete keywords without losing anything. So simple and so helpful.

Today, I spent more time on ONE PHOTO than I spent on 20 photos in old photo manager. I don't know why Alamy makes our lives miserable with this new horrible photo manager. It's the worst photo manager I have ever seen in my life. You guys may think it's cool and modern, but you have to think about people who will be using this! I want to cry when I start working on my photos. :( Please, please, bring the old manager (as optional) back!!! Thank you.

The new image manager seems so user-unfriendly that I let a thousand uploaded pix go unkeyworded. I would rather spend my time zapping dust-spots than dealing with tags; THAT'S how tedious the new IM looks to me.

I'm working through this backlog of images, but a job which used to be a simple chore is now a real drag... and gives me a headache. Did all those 'beta testers' really like what they saw??

One of the things that should work better in this version is just frustrating when I try to use it. I realized there was one word I wanted to add to a group of images. I found the images easily enough with a search but when I tried to add the word I got the message that one or more images already had 50 tags. Well, yes. But not all of them had 50 tags. Why not let me add the tag to the ones where I still had space. Every encounter with this image manager seems to end with me feeling frustrated and angry.
