York Photographer
Just keyworded my 12,000 image, glad I haven't had to buy film, pay for processing, and then scan that many!
Richard Baker
I'm right behind you, York. Not that I scanned any, but of my total, 2,500 originate from E6 / Kodachrome and negs. But instead of film costs, I often wonder how much electricity I've consumed over the years as I sat hunched over the grindstone. Photography has never exactly been Green. Take away the silver from the pre-digital equation and replace it with carbon emissions and you get an industry that ought to be, like a Stalin-era smelting plant, closed down. Fanciful, I know but .. Rgds, Richard.

I here what your saying, what I've saved on film and processing, I've spent on cameras, faster computers, software, memory, monitors, calibrators, electricity etc etc.... Actually, thinking about it, film has its upsides!
