Alamy
Our help pages have had a makeover. They're now much easier to navigate. Take a look and find all the info you need in one place. They look great too.Head over there now and let us know what you think - www.alamy.com/contributor.
NYCat
A lot of people don't seem to know that a jpeg is a compressed image. I'll be interested to see whether we stop getting all the inquiries about file size in the forum. What you have written should be clear but I worry that it begins with JPEG file size of over 17. Jerome Wilson
I see no mention of phrases, nor the use of quotes or brackets in the keywording guidelines. I hope Alamy will clarify what is expected of us, and if there is a long term goal for the use of phrases. Jerome
spacecadet
It does suggest the likely compressed size for the first time. That might help. But I think it should repeat the required size in MP.
NYCat
My version would be...... Uncompressed file size of over 17MB. A JPEG is a compressed file so your JPEGs will likely be 3-5MB. .... Then the rest stays the same. I don't like the cartoony look and would prefer something more adult and sophisticated. Ah well. Doesn't really matter. IanGibson
My view is that it should simply say 6 mega pixels. It's clear and simple.
