Yes, what's the deal with all the old celeb images I see being offered on Alamy by my fellow contributors? I'm referring to old B&W pictures of Lenin and Freud and Frank Sinatra and such. Obviously, the contributors did not take these images themselves.

Mine are there because I did a lot of restoration on those for a client, and sometimes research. Mostly for exhibitions. In my case I could under US law claim copyright under the sweat of the brow doctrine. The UK does not have such a notion.
