  1. Hoping I can get advice on correcting an image in Photoshop ! I have no idea what caused the fault line in this negative, it hasn't seen the light of day since I took it in the late 1980s ! It is the only frame on the film that has the fault and I can only assume something was between the camera and my friend. I only use Photoshop for basic corrections and have little experience of using layers which I suspect may be required here ... and I have no doubt to many in the forum, it will be a very simple straightforward fix ! Any advice on how to darken the bottom half of the image to match the top half and removing the dividing line, in simple terms, will be much appreciated ! Thanks in advance. https://postimg.cc/F71gc4HR
  2. Hi, Does Alamy accept motion imagine and if so what is the process to upload as can't see how to do it from my dashboard? Or is a matter of joining another Library for video? Many thanks Tom
  3. Hi! I'm a newbie here. How do you delete an image from your portfolio?
  4. When I submit an image with keywords entered in photoshop the image manager seems to add a very long keyword/tag at the end, in fact so long that they cover the entire Tag (keyword) field on the right and I can't get to the "x" on the RHS to delete them, how do I remove them?
  5. Article on bellingcat about reverse image search- https://www.bellingcat.com/resources/how-tos/2019/12/26/guide-to-using-reverse-image-search-for-investigations/ the article is not intended for stock photographers but it might be useful.
  6. I accidentally uploaded the same image twice. Being new to the system here on Alamy, my question is... Is it possible to delete an image after it has been uploaded? Thanks!
  7. Hello there ... I am new for Alamy ... :) I upload set of images to alamy , but all show as " Poor discoverabilty " anyone know how to change it in to optimized discoverability ??? Please help me ... I have No idea ... Thank you
  8. Hi again! I'm sure this has already been answered. But I'm working on some autumn images with really intense reds and yellows. The images look fine in Lightroom, but when I export as JPEGs the saturation just looks too much (I'm looking at the JPEGs in Microsoft "Photos", the default programme in Windows). So first question, when I upload to Alamy, are the thumbnails going to look like my JPEGs in Microsoft "Photos" or like what I'm seeing in Lightroom? Second question, what does a customer see when they download? Same as what I'm seeing if they open in "Photos" or in Lightroom? Is this just a really stupid question and it just depends which photo viewer you use? Presumably clients will be using an array of different photo viewers.... Steve
  9. I have image on Sthutterstock, Fotolia,Istock,Dreamstime,123Rf and Alamy. In all of them i have sells, but not in Alamy, why? What kinds of images could be sell on Alamy?
  10. I've been with Alamy since 2002 and started on film - 35mm neg and scanned (good scanner). Photoshop and my editing skills have improved since then and I would like to re-submit some old images. However, will they pass QC? Original sizes were about 65 mb and I've looked at them at about 35 mb, but I'm doubtful. Will what passed QC then pass QC now? Has anybody got experience of this situation? PS - Despite the description of me as a forum newbie. I'm not. Just haven't posted in a long time. Jeff ? You still here?
