I have some magazines from 1990, 'The Los Angeles Times' Sunday magazine. I was wondering what are the copyright issues if I photographed the covers and put them through as stock images? Can anyone give any advice. Thanks in advance.

Resurrecting this topic, and taking it slightly off topic, but still relevant. In the new year my intentions are to move out further from London and cover some events in Brussels and Paris. Of course it seems that there is an increased risk of personal injury here, so, what are the recommendations for a helmet? would a cycling helmet be fine, or something more specialized? Does this apply for editorial images? on the DACS site there is no mention.

Not really thinking about stock images, when this makes sense, but for live news? Thanks for that, it helps. Long winded way to see what has been posted, unless you are looking for specific live news. Must admit prefer the old lay out, but this is progress, right?

Can you still see the Live News feed? I have had a quick look and it seems to have been replaced with the picture search?

I wonder if this whole process is a way of reducing the amount of less than perfect images that will end up as stock. A lot of live news images couldnt be submitted as stock images as in many instances simply wouldnt be good enough.
