  1. Thanks for the spot. Though whether I'll ever get paid for it is another matter. If you scroll down to the foot of the article there is a thumbnail of two people on the cliff edge of the Cliffs of Moher, Ireland, and a link to a previous article dating from the 29 Jan 2021. That is also one of mine (J0G7WH) which was reported (maybe by you 😀) in 'Images Found' the same day, Jan 29th 2021. I contacted Alamy about it a while ago but it's still uncleared.
  2. A good month for me - 28 sales totalling $491.37 gross plus an infringement payment of $128.42 net.
  3. There are plans for a tram service linking Leeds and Bradford, though I doubt it will make much difference to city-centre traffic. Leeds was supposed to be getting a trolley bus system a few years ago but the scheme was scrapped. https://www.constructionenquirer.com/2024/03/07/2bn-leeds-to-bradford-tram-plan-unveiled/ Manchester Metrolink is indeed an excellent service - I live about ten minutes walk from a tram stop and I use it a lot. It does have its problems though, usually caused by dozy car drivers - last week was particularly bad with three seperate crashes. There's also the odd driver who decides to take a short-cut on the off-road sections. It usually doesn't end well....

  6. A rock climb even to get to the base of it. Tried once but bottled it!
  7. By the way, and apologies if you already know this, but even though they are monochrome they still have to be in RGB format, not greyscale.
  8. I have about fifty monochrome images on Alamy, mostly copies of the colour versions which are also on Alamy. I didn't convert them specifically for Alamy but because I wanted prints for myself. I've only ever had one sale - Mont Blanc from the Dôme de Miage, taken in 1976 and stitched from three images. No colour version of this one, it was on Ilford FP4 film. Good fee at the time but that was way back in 'the good old days'.
  9. I'm not sure about this. I haven't touched any of the options in the Creative Cloud Desktop - Syncing is turned on but Cloud Storage says 0% so I'm not uploading anything to the Cloud. The Creative Cloud Desktop app loads at Start-Up even though it's supposedly disabled with CCleaner (Adobe seem to play by their own rules at times...!). I'm happy with this as I get notification of program updates but I don't get any annoying messages while in Photoshop.
  10. You haven't said whether you are on Windows or Mac. I know nothing about Mac but if you are Windows try this... Go to 'Edit....Preferences...File Handling' Go to 'Default File Location'... it's probably set to 'Creative Cloud'. If so change it to 'On your computer'. (This might be the same on Mac). If that doesn't work download and install CCleaner (ccleaner.com - it's free). From the menu select 'Tools' then 'Start Up' which will take you to a (long!) list of stuff that is loaded on start-up. Select anything with Adobe in the title and Disable (don't delete) them with the button at top right. Obviously you will have to re-start the computer for it to take effect. I've done all this on my computer and not noticed any unintended consequences, and I don't get the annoying notices.
  11. 12. A good month. 21 sales for a total of $351.07 gross, plus two infringments totalling $131.95 net.
  13. I agree, why do we have to log in every time? Other forums I've used usually have a 'Remember Me' tick box or similar. I assume it's just a simple matter of a cookie.
  14. Don't worry, he's in Manchester, pretending to be a statue.....
  15. Very odd - looks to me like one of those clickbait sites. A lot of it seems to be about anything but Cornwall. For instance if you click on the Latest News about Cornwall link the main 'news' is about the housing market in Texas! I very much doubt you will get anywhere trying to get any payment out of them.
