  1. Old Nilkon D800 with the 2.8G trinity. Leica Q3. Much easier to carry around. My wife currently uses a Fuji X100. Waiting on a Fuji X100 VI.
  2. The only thing you need to remember about the Sony RX100 is basically not a lot of good in low light. Other than that, they're good.
  3. Jeff I don't know anything about PC's but just go onto their site and try the 2 weeks ( I think ) free trial. See what happens.
  4. Jeff. Watch this. If you only take Jpegs then forget it. That's not going to work. Or for the moment, or if you use Fuji X trans censors maybe in 4 or 5 months.
  5. The two ladies in the foreground look like they’re made of rubber. Does that mean it will fail? No idea.
  6. Harry is right about the prices not dropping on the Fuji X100V at the moment. I am surprised; I thought they might even tank and thus far that is wrong. Looking at some of your photos KellyC it looks like a 35mm lens might be OK for you. Providing you don’t need to zoom in and out a lot, I would just go the whole hog and get a Fuji X100VI simply because it’s a 40 MP camera and this will allow you to crop pretty fearlessly. The V is around 26MP I think. These Fuji cameras are definitely in the fun bracket to me. I ordered a VI a few weeks ago. No sign of it yet and I’m looking forward to seeing it although I won’t be using it myself hardly at all. Cropped frame cameras are usually great when they’re Fuji class. If Fuji make this the last iteration of the X100 series (big if), it will hold its price quite well imo. Not that any of that should make a difference to buying decisions.
  7. Quite and this also puts AI in the spotlight. AI imo could be highly useful for certain applications. But not things like photography, music or any kind of arts. I think that's now even moreso than before is probably going to be a given. Yes, it's already a pet peeve as are the chancers on YouTube wandering around the planet with the latest camera pretending they know about photography. Beware anything that involves rabbiting on about equipment rather than what it's actually for. End of rant.
  8. AI has been mentioned. It's also extremely serious if AI or any manipulating has occurred. If anyone here did and does that to their photographs it doesn't matter at all. Unfortunately if you're a member of the RF then it's serious because the notion will almost certainly be that anything in the future will not be trusted.
  9. I think you just take photographs you're happy with and never mind anyone else. I get that a lot of people would like to make money out of their photography. Quite a natural thing to want. I would treat it as a side hustle and just having some fun wondering around with a camera on occasion. Based on numbers as seen here for example, it's hardly a living but more a way of bolstering other funds I would guess.
  10. What I find interesting when the topic of what seems to be never ending numbers is that no one ever seems to bring up inflation. If you insert inflation figures into your numbers and apply, you're going to get very unhappy very quickly. Haha.
  11. Yes the Fuji X100V is a really good camera. Looks like as said, you pushed the ISO but didn't get rid of the excess noise in post editing software. I go up to around 12500 ISO on a Leica Q3 sometimes but it's never a problem in either DXO or Lightroom noise reduction for example.
  12. I like black & white better than colour. I do put some B&W on Alamy but more just for fun and sometimes they even sell.
  13. Just out of interest what camera and lens are you using?
