Used to love skiing, before I got too old and too poor! Obviously, I am into photography big time and run my own, one-man, photography buisness! I also like to try my hand at digital art and sometimes drawing with a pencil or rotring pen. I do a bit of running/jogging, mainly in local parks. I'm into films and I am currently, the official photographer at the Misty Moon Film Society, at Flatplanet in Soho and The Cinema Museum, where I get to meet and photograph a wide range of "stars of ther silver screen".

  1. Cant log into my photography portfolio get a message Error Processing Your Request', like Martin, quite worrying!
  2. In this sort of situation I would probably submit the image as reportage, which has a much lower QC threshold
  3. I have specialized in photographing Classic Cars and Race Cars, so they currently form 22% of my entire portfolio. My question is, how much is too much, and at what point, does this become counter productive? Given the immanent demise of the petrol engine, the rise of EVs, ULEZ, global warming etc. I feel I am recording these vehicles for posterity and for future historical records, as they form a large part of our history, culture and heritage.
  4. Just key-worded the last 5 images, which, when they appear in my portfolio, will bring my total to exactly 14000, which was the goal I set myself for 2023. So Happy Christmas to all my fellow Alamy contributors and the Alamy Staff too!
  5. Thanks all for you input and experience with the DJI Mini drones
  6. Has anybody got experience with either of these two drones? Have you manages to submit any aerial images from them that pass Alamy QC? I'm asking because these drones are sub 250grams, and consequently can be flown closer to people of property that a larger, heavier DJI drone. I am considering purchasing one of these small drones, but the decider would be the quality of the images they produce and wether they would meet Alamy QC standards? Thanks John G.
  7. Its an NA or first generation Miata with pop up headlights
  8. Hi Steve, I just cleared my browser cache, and it seems to all be accessible now, not come across that problem before though! Thanks for the heads up
  9. Alamy website appears to be down, with only small amounts of it being accessible. Does anyone know what is going on?
  10. mine finally updated this morning too, some had been waiting since Feb 27th!
  11. Yes, been about 48hr now for some new work taken at the London Classic Car Show.
  12. Yes, I had a batch of about 12 images stuck in processing all day, now they have all disappeared? Not sure what's going on though.
