  1. The Tokina atx-i 100mm f/2.8 full-frame macro lens is a very nice macro lens reasonably priced. Mine is sharp and it has 1:1 macro reproduction and min focus distance 4.5 in. from the front element. Lens mounts for Canon and Nikon. Mine is an Nikon-F-mount version that I use on my Fuji X-T4 with a Fringer adapter. https://www.imaging-resource.com/lenses/tokina/100mm-f2.8-atx-i-ff-macro/review/
  2. A welcome high $$ RM license. Country: Worldwide, Usage: Single company - multiple use editorial only, Industry sector: Education Duration: Unlimited 2-3 more of these and maybe I'll be able to stay in Gold tier starting 1 July.
  3. Here in US there is new generation of housing construction - 3D printed houses. These are constructed with exterior and interior walls "printed" using a special concrete mixture and a "LARGE" 3D printer. There is a cluster of these being built not far from me. https://www.cnn.com/style/texas-3d-printed-home-icon/index.html

  5. Your recent lack of sales is similar to what many contributors at Alamy, myself included, and at other agencies across the stock media industry are reporting. It's likely not a particular shortcoming in your portfolio or key-wording, etc. IMO one plausible cause could be a widespread reduction in stock media demand in the current economic environment.
  6. I see similar comments fairly frequently. I've used Windows since the earlier single digit versions, as well as MacOS with 3 iMacs, and even played a couple times with Linux on couple older PC's. Not a MS fanboy but have now been 100% Windows for several years. It just works and has the most choices of software. I've never understood the dislike of Windows nor the reports of it's updates/new versions causing havoc. I've always kept my systems current with latest upgrades, etc. and I've never had any upgrades or new Win versions break anything I can recall. In today's personal computing hardware/software environment I believe that a hardware system refresh every several years is part of the price of admissions to the benefits of using a personal computer. Hanging onto and trying to keep old hardware/software systems running properly is not the route to a smooth reduced stress personal computing experience. Especially given the advances with newer software versions and their system requirements. We only have to look at the AI imaging tools now available as an example.
  7. I've used Photo Mechanic for a number of years. However, be aware - Photo Mechanic is going down the subscription path 😯 https://home.camerabits.com/2023/11/12/changes-coming-to-photo-mechanic/
  8. Brian - have you discussed with these same publishers if they are willing to pay license fees commensurate with much more image quality given the significant downward trend of stock license fees in recent years? Or maybe they don't they license stock?
  9. Thanks Michael - I did not know that... or I missed it somehow.
  10. Yep - if referring to me - I did find 4 to post.
