Easy enough to leave out the failed image and re-upload the other seven. But, make sure that the other images don't suffer from the same faults, as Alamy aren't necessarily saying the other seven images are good. Remember QC don't check all images.
I wonder? Did she claim it was a news image? Or was it an aid who submitted it as a recent image. I think the agencies may have jumped the gun on this calling it news.
It's mainly older houses that are double bricked i.e. concrete block on the inside and a facing brick on the outside. Most modern builds are timber frame construction, due to cost and being assembled off site, with the frame also supporting the roof trusses.
When I think of the money I've spent on photography equipment and what I get in return from Alamy/PA I want to bring up my dinner never mind inflation. π Seriously though, I remember David Kilpatrick say that geographical location was a contributor to doing well on Alamy with Scotland not particularly the best place to be. Well, certainly true in as far as results for me are concerned, I tend to believe you've either got images that customers want or you don't. It seems that over the piece I don't.
